Calling all La Trobe students!
Citizens of La Trobe is a photo essay research project wanting to know how La Trobe has shaped your global citizen identity.
Global citizenship is an essential area of learning at La Trobe. In a world connected by culture and technology, we are no longer just ‘citizens’ but ‘global citizens’ who must cooperate to make change in our communities.
Learning to be a global citizen happens in many ways, often within the diverse reality of how we gather and navigate experiences across university life. For some, it might means ‘getting out of your comfort zone’ or caring for someone you barely know. For others, it might mean being globally aware, and taking collective action to support a cause.
What makes you a global citizen? Take a picture and share your story.
Submit a photo essay and stand to win a $50 Coles/Myer voucher
