WHO WE ARE

The 'Building Academic Excellence in Global Citizenship Education' project started in 2017 with the intention of developing an academic understanding of global citizenship and global citizenship education. This blog is a collection of our work, and a platform for the La Trobe community to connect, share and develop better ways to implement global learning in our university. Join our community or meet the team.

Project aims:

  1. Identify key features of quality global citizenship education

  2. Understand how educators’ conceptions of GCE inform teaching practice

  3. Celebrate and showcase exemplary practice in GCE at La Trobe

  4. Develop teaching exemplar resources

  5. Establish a Community of Practice (CoP) to develop and share ideas, and promote scholarship

This project is part of the Building Excellence in Global Citizenship Education (BEGCE) project and is funded by an LTLT Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Grant.
